To Our Customers: The city of San Mateo now requires that restaurants use food containers and utensils produced from natural, fiber-based, compostable materials for takeout orders. Some of the new packaging items do not seal as well as plastic ones and are NOT microwaveable. We are working to provide high-quality containers that comply with the new eco-friendly standards. In addition, CA State law now prohibits utensils, plates, napkins and condiments (such as sides of parmesan and crushed red peppers) from being included in takeout orders unless customers specifically request them.
