Amici's East Coast Pizzeria announced the opening of their Vacaville location with a charity event that raised $10,000 for Bay Area High School Sports Programs.

On July 24th 2007, Amici's donated 100% of that day's sales to programs supporting Bay Area High School Sports. The event was sponsored by radio station KNBR 680 - The Sports Leader, and their many on-air personalities throughout the day.

San Francisco 49'ers legend Brent Jones was at Amici's new location in Vacaville's Nut Tree Village in person during the afternoon, meeting fans, signing autographs and posing for pictures. He called in to KNBR and did a live interview with Ralph Barbieri during the event.

Robert Braunstein, host of Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area, called the event 'a wonderful effort in helping bring positive attention to Bay Area High School athletes'.
